Has the world has gone completely sideways? Curfew drones are watching. Robots have stolen the rhythm. The sky is on the telephone. And somewhere, a toaster is apparently giving orders. There’s Too Much Static (Can You Hear Me Now?) mixes dystopian unease with completely absurd humour in a song where nothing is quite what it seems. Can you hear me now? Released 30 September 2026. #TheresTooMuchStatic #Hallgreenboy #CanYouHearMeNow #SurrealMusic #NewMusic
What happens when the world stops making sense? The moon forgets its password. The pavement learns to fly. Robots steal the rhythm. A helicopter made of jelly lands on the bed. Meanwhile, curfew drones are watching, the television has eaten the afternoon, and the radio keeps whispering that everything is fine. There’s Too Much Static, is a surreal collision of dystopian anxiety, absurd humour and deliberately impossible imagery. Some of the lyrics are funny. Some are unsettling. Some sit somewhere in between, where the joke starts to feel a little too close to reality. From monitored homes and empty supermarkets to arguing traffic lights, sleeping satellites and a universe that simply won't answer the phone, this is a song about a world where absolutely nothing seems to follow the rules. Is it nonsense? Is it satire? Is it a warning? Or has the toaster finally taken control? Turn up the volume and decide for yourself.
